With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James John Novy of Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Novy and Alma Novy (Kohl); his wife Kathleen Novy (Kathie); his brother Robert Novy; his brothers-in-law, William Gnagy, Thomas Williams, Anthony DeSousa and Allen Conrad; and his nephew Vincent Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Novy (Joseph Powell) of St. Petersburg, Florida and Michael Novy (Julie) of O'Fallon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Christian Novy (Hannah) of O'Fallon, Illinois, Andrew Novy of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Nicholas Novy, Joseph Novy and Zachary Novy of O'Fallon, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Joseph Novy and Samuel Novy of O'Fallon, Illinois; his sister Maryann Gnagy; and his nephews, John Gnagy and Jeff Gnagy of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
