He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Edmond Paul and Donna Janice Gavin, Jr. (Dieterich); his children, Michael of Edwardsville, Patrick Gavin of Edwardsville and Victoria Krieg (Matthew) of Huntingburg, Indiana; his granddaughters, Isla Marie and Vera Rose Krieg; and his siblings, Ed Gavin (Grace), Tom Gavin, Connie Durham (Jim), Lisa Burk (Chris) and Sandy Ashmore (Craig).
