With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanette Hoedebecke (Edwardsville, Illinois), who passed away on February 20, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leona Straka (Harizal) and Joseph Straka II; her husband Clifford Hoedebecke of Joseph's Church; her children, Nancy Gilmore and Cliff Hoedebecke; and her siblings, Jackie Reinagal and Joseph Straka.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Hoedebecke (Jan), Ken Hoedebecke (Marjorie) and Maureen Worthen (Cory); her grandchildren, Kate Greene (Bernt), Eric Hoedebecke, Jeff Hoedebecke (Beth), Jessica Schlechte (Jason), Kara Olsen (Rob) and Melissa Schuermann (Doug); her great grandchildren, Isaiah Schlechte, Cliff Seaman, Theo Seaman, Emma Schlechte, Francesca Olsen and Colette Olsen; and her sister Jerri Cash. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
The family suggests memorials to the ALS Association.
