He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl W. Jones and Mildred Bernice Jones (Tripp); and his siblings, Elmer Jones and Flo Polacek. He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Wanell" Jones (Marrs); his daughter Natasha; his son-in-law Steve Benthal of Edwardsville; his son John Douglas "Doug"; his daughter-in-law Leah F. Jones of Georgetown, Texas; his grandchildren, Chandler Benthal, Natalia (Brett Grubbs), Charis Jones, Roman (Emily Jones) and Alayah (Jarek Wehrle); and his sisters, Roberta Fuller of Granite City and Mary Piquard of Alhambra. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews; other extended family, church family and cherished friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Ministries (812 Old Rte 66 S, Litchfield, IL 62056).
