It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Thomas Lawrence of Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. "Cap" Lawrence and Muriel Lawrence (Prentiss); his wife Janet Ann Lawrence (Vredeveld); and his brother Daniel "Danny" Lawrence. He is survived by: his sisters, Alice Servais of Maumee, OH and Ann Baranek of Georgetown, TX; his son Brad Lawrence (Chrissy); his grandchildren, Mackenzie and Brayden of Maryville, IL; his daughters, Kathryn Lawrence (Jason) and Schipkowski of St. Louis, MO; and his sister-in-law Connie Lawrence of Maumee, OH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
