He is survived by: his sibling Lew; his brother-in-law Dr. Edward Davison; his sister Vertie; his close friend Edward Wentz; his wife Peggy; his children, Jay Worthey of Edwardsville, Paul Worthey (Ellen) of Edwardsville and Sara Pierce (Mark) of Glen Carbon; his grandchildren, Tyler Worthey and Madeline Pierce of Peoria, Ill.; his nieces and nephews, Jodi Madole (Dennis) of Versailles, Jon Davison (Brooke) of Peachtree City, Ken Burnham (Teri) of Stockdale, Kim Burnham (Don Busken) of Sun City, Ariz., Jon Randall "Randy" Gregory (Randy) of Shawnee, Kan, Todd Gregory-Gibbs (Jeff) of Kansas City, Mark Derr (Shirley) of St. Louis, David Derr of Plattsburg, Mark Worthey (Tammy) of Flower Mound and Wendy Worthey of San Diego, Calif; and his siblings-in-law, Keith Derr of Plattsburg and Carolyn Worthey of Kansas City. He is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and treasured family friends.
