She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert W. Voyles and Mable C. Voyles (Hannsgard); her husband Donald Shaffer; and her siblings, Glen Voyles, June Sandberg, Mae Klug, Alice Minick, Doris Gruver, Duane and Fern.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy; her son-in-law Dan Highlander; her son Stan; her daughter-in-law Patty Shaffer (Filla); her grandchildren, Graham (Meg Shaffer), Garret (Kyla Shaffer), Colby Highlander and Emily (David Johnson); her great grandchildren, Owen, Frankie, Knox, Jack and Aftyn; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Elias and Jude.
