With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Alan Levy of Edwardsville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Levy and Melva Levy (Fredrick); his son Benjamin Henry Levy; and his brother John "Jack" Levy. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughters, Jessica Backman-Levy (Paul) and Rachel Levy (Sixto Franco); his grandchildren, Odessa, Otis Franco-Levy and Eliana Backman-Levy; his siblings, Francis Levy (Barbara), Alice McSorley (Jeff) and Ruth Garrison (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Jane Levy and Steve Levine (Joan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
