She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Neustadt and Violet Neustadt (Schwegmann); her husband Melvin J. Haarmann; her son Henry Haarmann; her sister Violet Lee Neustadt; and her siblings-in-law, Margaret, Leonard Ebbesmeyer, Hilda Haarmann, S. M., Ann Marie, Bernard Goeke, Sister Rita Haarmann, Hildegarde, Lawrence Moellering, Henry, Helen Haarmann, Raymond, Norma Haarmann, Lambert Haarmann and Aloysius Haarmann.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Seger (Rick) of St. Jacob, IL and Cathy Ehlert (Doug) of Huntsville, AL; her grandchildren, Erick Seger (Sara) of St. Jacob, IL, Melissa Seger (Cody Conner) of Waller, TX, Courtney Stephens (Russell) of Huntsville, AL and Abby McDuffy (Alan) of Killen, AL; her great grandchildren, Holden and Bennett Seger; her brother Melvin Neustadt (Janet) of West Alton, MO; and her sister-in-law Dolores Haarmann of Florissant, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (325 E Vandalia St, Edwardsville, IL 62025). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Southern Illinois Hospice or to the American Cancer Society.
