We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 64, Melanie T. Rees of Edwardsville, Illinois, born in Saint Charles, Missouri passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melanie T. Rees to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Marion and Helen "Louise" Rees (Bruch); and her brother Peter Rees. She is survived by : her siblings, Ursula (Mike Jostedt), Joan (John Burks), Donna (Lonnie McCoy), Tom (Debe Rees), David Rees of Worden, Mary Lou (Tim Lyerla), Mark (Felicia Rees), Emily (Alexander Wilson), Jean Marie Causey of Granite City, Andrew Rees (Stephanie) of Granite City and Dennis Squibb of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She is also survived by many nieces; nephews; great nieces; great nephews; cousins; other extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan House, 1825 Delmar Avenue, Granite City, Illinois 62040 and may be accepted at the funeral home or online at http://www.goodsamhouse.org.
