He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry "Vic" Potts and Dorothy Jones (Tracy); and his granddaughter Grace Misuraca. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Schmutz; his stepchildren, Michele Rickard of Collinsville, Angela Breithaupt (Tony Misuraca) of Jerseyville, Sarah Crane (Russell) of Jerseyville and Stephen Breithaupt of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Jay Rickard, Cody Rickard, Vicktorya Hart, Jewleah Heck, Savannah Heck, Faith Misuraca, Justin Richardson, Erika Richardson-Breithaupt, Trevor Liefer, Connor Ulrich, Carter "Jo" Ulrich and Lily Crane; and his great grandchildren, Elijah, Everly, Logan, Atlas and Naomi.
