He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Schoeneberg, and Edna Lucille Schoeneberg, Jr. (McIntyre). He is survived by: his children, Chet Schoeneberg of Carbondale, IL, Avonlea Schoeneberg of Edwardsville, IL and Mariah Schoeneberg of Edwardsville, IL; his brothers-in-law, Eric Willingham (Tammie) of Caseyville, IL and Alan Willingham (Sharilyn) of Belleville, IL; his mother-in-law Margaret Nicholson of Sparta, IL; and his grandson Emerson.

Memorials may be given to the Randolph County Humane Society.
