Corkery; his wife Deborah Corkery (Winkle); his children, Brendan Corkery of Creve Coeur, Casey Corkery of Edwardsville, Neil Corkery and Colleen Corkery of Edwardsville; his mother Ann Corkery; and his siblings, Dan, Vince, Ted, Katie, Sally, Maggie and Maureen.

“Pat was a wonderful mathematician and scientist and dedicated public servant for 30+ years but most of all he was a genuinely good, kind person whom I will not soon forget. In the two short years I worked with him he left an indelible impression. We were both really excited about the total solar eclipse coming and we joked about carving a pumpkin in the shape of the eclipse (i.e. just a hole!). I shared with him the photo I took of the eclipse and Then when I broke my ankle a couple months later, he sent me a card containing a photo of the pumpkin his son had carved - into the shape of the corona from the eclipse! Pat, rest in peace, gone too soon, you deserved many years of enjoying your retirement.”
