He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Aton and Marie Aton (Figge); and his brother Dr. Guy Aton. He is survived by : his nieces, Jennifer Cuenca (Vincent), Rachel Heneghan (Aaron) and Sarah Wade (Jason); and his nephew Eric Aton (Sheila). He is also survived by nine great nieces & nephews; and numerous cousins.
