She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde McBride and Mattie McBride (Pettit); her husband William H. Cox; and her daughter Deana Thurman. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey Cox (Katrina Bain) of Edwardsville and Michael Cox (Lisa) of Edwardsville; her grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Sean, Lauren, Lindsay Cox, Danielle Brammeier and Janice Ruffu; her great grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Ivy, Logan, Olivia, Sophia, Beau and Nash; and her sisters, Clyda Lamb and Patricia Tolbert.
