It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Leon Tate of Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Olen Tate and Reathie Tate (Pemberton); his wife Bonnie L. Price; and his sisters, Merrilie Barnhart and Sue Alecci.
He is survived by : his children, Greg Tate (Sharon) and Lori Haring; his grandchildren, Philip Tate (Kristin), Miriah Haring, Branden and Sarah Tate; his great grandchild Harper Tate; his sister Jane Dyer (Bud); and his brother-in-law LaVern Alecci.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made through the funeral home or family to go towards a memorial MCT Bike Trail Bench or Tree.
