Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dawson and Eileen Dawson; and his brother Donnie. He is survived by: his partner Ricci Janka; his brothers, David, Dan and Ronnie; and his nephew Michael. He is also survived by close friends, family, and neighbors.
A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Wildey Theatre (252 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025).
