He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Keck Sr. and Elizabeth Keck (Starr); his brother Charles "Tom" Keck Jr.; his stepgranddaughter Casey Vannier; his children, Patty Smith (Bobby) of Hamel, IL, Andy Keck (Jessica) of St. Jacob, IL and Sam Keck (Jo) of St. Jacob, IL; and his stepchildren, Kristine Hendrix of Murrayville, IL, Darla Colp (Jim) of Holiday Shores, IL and Dale Barnhart of Cape Canaveral, FL..
He is survived by: his wife Carol Barnhart (Hess) of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Bobby Smith Jr., Marlee Smith, Macee Smith, Jocelyn Keck, Maximus Keck, Marshall Keck, Elizabeth Keck and Silas Keck; his stepgrandchildren, Kyle Hendrix, Michael Hendrix, Matthew Hendrix, Jessica Osborn and Justin Colp; and his nephew Thomas Keck. He is also survived by extended family members, and countless friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Hamel.
