He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin H. Burns and Leona M. Burns (Francis). He is survived by: his son Jeffery Burns (Dawn) of Edwardsville, IL; his grandchildren, Casey Burns (Aly) of Edwardsville, IL, Jared Burns (Celine) of Worden, IL and Amber Marshall (Justin) of Edwardsville, IL; his great grandchildren, Kevin Burns, Kylie Burns, Baylor Burns, Luke Burns and Beckett Marshall; and his brothers, Jim Burns (Betty) of Edwardsville, IL and Kenneth Burns (Linda) of O'Fallon, IL..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Boniface Catholic Church (110 N Buchanan St, Edwardsville, IL 62025). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Weber & Rodney Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025).
The family suggests memorials to St. Boniface Catholic Church or BJC Hospice.
