She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Bast and Juanita Bast (Harmon); her husband Hugh C. Snell; her brother Donald Bast; and her stepson Dennis Snell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Debra A. Gause (Jeff) of Troy and Christine M. Snell of Edwardsville; her stepchildren, Hugh B. Snell of Edwardsville and Debra Scott (Dennis) of Conway, Texas; her grandchildren, Kassi Heimann (Jon) of Edwardsville and Jace Gause (Lindsey) of Glen Carbon; and her great grandchildren, Carlyle and Jameson. She is also survived by five step-grandchildren; and twelve step-great grandchildren.
