We bid farewell to William Gibson of Edwardsville, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 12, 2025 at the age of 75. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Gibson and Ruby L. Gibson (Payne); his son William Lee Gibson II; and his siblings, Brenda Gibson, Tommy Gibson, Larry "Odie" Gibson and Ron Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Lori L. Gibson (Crow); his children, Eric W. Gibson (Jessica Parker) of Camdenton, Missouri and Carli Giger (Ryan) of Collinsville; and his grandchildren, Merin Campbell (Matt), Billy Woods and Madison Giger. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Irwin Chapel of Glen Carbon (591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, IL 62034). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
