He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Mills and Netta Mills (Lang); his wife Carol Breiner; his children, Kim Mills (Mike Hutson) of Effingham and Michael of Wilmette, IL; his grandchildren, Dylan of Effingham and Marci McShane (Sean) of Naperville, IL; his great grandchild Robert James "RJ" McShane; his sister Alyson Tabot of Brookfield, CT; his pet Blue; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Marcella Breiner; and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Cook, Jim Cook and Michael Tabot.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions to the Family Life Center or Sacred Heart Church.
