He was predeceased by: his parents, Reynold W. Miller and Vivian Miller (Stacy); his son Michael Thoele; and his brothers, Reynold L. Miller, Tim Miller and Jimmy Miller.
He is survived by: his former wife Faye Eden of Effingham; his sons, Brad Thoele (Daphne) of Franklin, Darrell Thoele (Sara) of Sigel, Nathaniel Miller of Effingham and Tyson Miller (Nicole) of Mt. Zion; and his sisters, Pat Peters (Gene) and Pam Wooden. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 9 nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in rural Louisville, IL.
