Drew D. Dougherty Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 23, 2025, at the age of 57, Drew D. Dougherty of Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Drew is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Drew's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Dougherty and Lue Dougherty (Rentschler). He is survived by: his brother Darin; his sister-in-law Christina; and his sibling's children, Emma of Wellesley, Massachusetts. and Will of Wellesley, Massachusetts.. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401).
In lieu of flowers and in honor of Drew's deep love for animals and live music, memorial contributions may be made to EARS (Effingham Animal Rescue and Sanctuary), or Poss Music Works.
