It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Duane Allen Wetherell of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on June 2, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delano "Bud" LeRoy and Viola Ruth Wetherell (Huffmaster); and his brother-in-law Larry Jacobs. He is survived by: his siblings, Sue Jacobs of Altamont, Betty Jo Wetherell of Washington, IA, Dale Wetherell (Diane) of Stewardson and Donald Wetherell (Tammy) of Stewardson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins as well as his church family.
