He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Gammon and Vivian Irene Gammon (Livesay); and his brother Timothy Dane Gammon. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann "Ann" Gammon of Effingham; his sons, Michael Timothy Gammon (Sonya) of Effingham and Matthew Granville Gammon (Shannon) of Whitestown, IN; his grandsons, Sean Gammon (Lisa) of Dayton, OH, Ian Gammon (Haley) of Lebanon, IN and Trey Gammon (Noel Haas); and his great grandchildren, Sean Jr. and Hudson. He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (440 W Case St, Kinmundy, IL 62854).
In memory of Fred, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
