He was predeceased by: his father Wayne Phillips; and his niece Charis Gohel (Phillips). He is survived by: his mother Betty Phillips (Merry) of Effingham; his children, Tracy Kitchens of San Antonio, TX, Brad Phillips (Beth) of Nashville, TN and Brittany Phillips of Effingham; his grandchildren, Aaden, Aubrey, Avery and Finn; and his brother Douglas Phillips (Sally) of Columbia, MO. He is also survived by nephew and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Effingham County Animal Shelter or E.A.R.S. Effingham Animal Rescue Sanctuary.
