James Lange Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 82, James Lange of Effingham, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lange and Delphia Lange; his wife Linda; his parents-in-law, Donald and Lillian Dugan; his brother Tom Lange; his siblings-in-law, Jean Henry and Charles Barker; and his nephews, Chris Barker, Steve Temple and Gary Lange.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shelly Lange (Diana Reif) and Sherry Banner (Jeff); his grandchildren, Tyler, Blake (Montana), Nichole Banner, Kylie and Kendall Reif; his great grandchild Miley Banner; his sister Millie Lange; and his siblings-in-law, Michelle Lange and Dennis Henry. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (213 W Fayette Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church.
