He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wolters and Agnes Wolters; his wife Carol "Cookie" Wolters; his siblings, Robert Wolters and Arlene Pals; his nephew Ryan Wolters; and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Richards Mihlbachler, Ted Richards and Robert Mihlbachler.
He is survived by: his children, Jill White (Bradley), Douglas Wolters (Angela) and Darren Wolters (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Christian, Abby White (Matthew "Beau" Wright), Ella, Blake Wolters, Lyndsey and Sean Wolters; his significant other Jeanne Patterson; his siblings, Dolores Gonzales (Ric) and Tom Wolters (Ann); and his siblings-in-law, Karen Wolters, Cindy Bass, Rick Pals (Annmarie) and Victor Springer (Nancy). He is also survived by nineteen nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations may be made to St. Anthony Education Trust or Effingham Retired Volunteer Firefighters Association.
