He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Carr and Betty Carr (Hennigh); his brother Michael Carr; and his nephew Tyler Carr. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Janet Carr; his nieces and nephews, Derrick Rose (Cat), Allyson Bisby (Doug), Dave Carr (Diana), Adriene Bowen (Shane), Wally Carr (Jennifer) and Tom Carr (Jodie); and his child Jerry.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Community Support Systems in Teutopolis or Windsor Harvest Picnic.
