With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A. Chalstrom of Effingham, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though John may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Diana; his children, Ann Maskaleris (Eli) of Park Ridge, IL and Jack (Jennifer) of Chesterfield, MO; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Chalstrom and Alyssa Maskaleris.
