He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ferchow and Esther Ferchow (Voelker); and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Cerasuolo, Gail Shadwell, Kay Campbell (Lee) and Myrna Shadwell.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Ferchow; his sister Gloria Cerasuolo; his nephew Jason Cerasuolo; his great-nephews, Lawson Campbell (Samantha) and Alex Campbell (Callie); Stuart Campbell, Scott Campbell (Lori) and Stephen Campbell (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to HSHS Hospice Southern Illinois.
