John Keith leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John Keith’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John Keith will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wally Tucker and Moynell O. Tucker (Field); and his brother Kelly Tucker. He is survived by: his daughter Moynell "Nellie" Boone; his grandchildren, Maelin J. Abbott-Rinehart (Chandler Murphy) and Sakura Lee Boone; his sisters, Julie Hoffman (Darrell) and Jeanne Tucker (Missy Alexander); and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Tucker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made directly to the Illinois Natural History Survey Mollusk Collection at the University of Illinois to support scientific research and preservation of natural history collections.
