He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban J. Cohorst and Olenda Cohorst (Meier). He is survived by: his wife Deborah Cohorst of Effingham; his daughters, Alissa Jones (Jeremy) and Rachel Koester; his grandchildren, Lia Jones and Nolan Koester; his siblings, John Cohorst (Linda) of Effingham and Nancy Stevens (Charles) of Fountain Hills, Arizona; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Moon (Joseph). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or the Salvation Army.
