We bid farewell to Judith L. Kinney of Effingham, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 12, 2024 at the age of 81. Judith touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her father Enoch Valette Sr.; her son Lewis "Bub" Branson Jr.; her grandson Cody Hissong; and her siblings, Ruth Koester, Enoch Miller Jr., Mary Donaldson, Jeanie Meyer, Shirley Yingst, Wanda Finfrock, Delores and Dickie Dan Miller.

She is survived by : her mother Carrie May Miller (Goodwin); her daughter Jerri Cisco (Don) of Decatur; her great grandchildren, Marley and Abbi Hissong; her brothers, Don Miller of Effingham and Jerry Miller of Beecher City; and also Kaitlyn Nease.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (1110 N 4th St, Effingham, IL 62401). A memorial service was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Willow Breeze Hospice House.
