She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen C. Smith and Gladys F. Smith (Nowlin); her husband Joseph Barnick; and her siblings, Bill Smith, Mildred Kohl, Janet McEndollar, Letta Morris, Jean May and Rosaline Stine.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Barnick (Tina) of Altamont, Jim Barnick of Effingham, Patty Barnick of Effingham and Julie McGuire (Tracey) of Altamont; and her grandchildren, Kyle (Jeanie), Brock (Alicia), Kayla (Lucas), Clayton (Kristen), Jonny, Hannah, Jacob and Emily. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
