He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Harner and Jennie Alice Harner; and his siblings, Joseph P. Harner II, Jarielle Winkleman and Javonda Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Harner of Effingham; his children, Justin Harner of Chicago and Jenae Rach (Kevin) of Romeoville; his sisters, Jenetia Ruble (Dave) of White Cloud, MI, Jorita Cook (Gary) of Rockford, MI and Jo Alice Dobbs (Steve) of Vian, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Gary Barnes of San Diego, CA, Gary Winkleman of Springfield and Idalee Content (Dick) of Rockford, MI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, or a charity of the donor's choice.
