We bid farewell to Linda Marie Kraus of Effingham, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 9, 2025 at the age of 73. Linda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Jr. Lane and Marie Lane (Furman); her husband James "Jim" Kraus; her children, Marie Freeland (Dave), Diane Cooper and James Kraus II (Christina); her grandchildren, Brooke, Tatia, Alex, Nate, Robby, Jayden, Klayten and Carmen; and her great grandchild Natalia.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (206 W Main St, Shumway, IL 62461). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made directly to the family.
