It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjory Field of Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 105, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marjory Field to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Edgar and Ida Hundley (Lennen); her spouse Truxton K. Field; her children, Kenny Field, Tom Field and Peggy Field-Steele; her great grandchild Dejon Thomas; her stepdaughter Carolyn King; and her siblings, Marion Hundley, Walter Hundley, James Hundley, Minnie Koeing, Irene Myers and Lucille Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Field of Effingham; her grandchildren, Jerome Prater, Jacob Prater, Missy Watson, Nick Field, Jimi Field and Sally Steele; her great grandchildren, Stormie Prater, Braxton Prater, Tanner Prater, Tiara Prater, Mason Watson, Kayla Williams and Michael Williams; her great great grandchildren, Silas Spracklen, Waylon, Levi Prater and Foster Prater; and her siblings, Rosa Stanley of Dawson, Illinois and Henry Hundley of Noble. She is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Pleasant View Cemetery. A burial was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Marjory's memory to the American Cancer Society or the Donor's Choice.
