He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Funneman and Diane Rippetoe (Robertson); and his grandparents, Laurin, Joan Robertson and Mary Funneman.
He is survived by: his brothers, Travis Funneman (Vicki) and Mitchell Funneman; his nieces, Shelby Funneman (Dustin Pontious) and Chloe Funneman; and his pet Blazer.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Heart Shrine Club of Effingham or to Mitch Funneman for Matthew's remaining medical expenses.
