She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dust and Celeste Dust (Vahling); and her brother Tom (Wendy). She is survived by: her husband Mark Sargent of Effingham; her sons, Dusty (Kristen) of Bloomington and Ed (Patty) of Dallas, TX; her brothers, Paul Dust (Mary) and Mark Dust (Susan); and her grandchildren, Michael (Kaleo), Madyson, Matthew, Isabela and Emma Sargent.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Anthony Catholic Church (101 E Virginia Ave, Effingham, IL 62401).
In lieu of food or flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony Schools in honor of Nancy's lifelong dedication to education and her desire to see every child succeed.
