The memory of Ora L. Gress of Effingham, Illinois, born in Batchtown, Illinois, who passed away on May 14, 2024 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by : her parents, Leon Johnson and Dorothy Johnson (Squire); her spouse Audry V. Gress; and her son James Patrick "Pat" Gress. She is survived by : her children, Mike (Nancy) of Indianapolis, IN, Tim (Vicky) of Mansfield, Lisa Moore (Steve) of Effingham, Mary Walters (Dave) of Effingham and Vicki Gress of Effingham; and her grandchildren, Bridget, Hillary, Patrick, Caitlin, Lauren, Collin, Daniel, Britney, Aaron and Jenny. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be given to the Sacred Heart School fund, the American Heart Association or the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
