We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2023, at the age of 78, Pat Armstrong of Effingham, Illinois, born in Gamaliel, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bethel Proffitt and Pauline Proffitt (Halsell); and her siblings, Doris Proffitt, Marshel Proffitt and Marvin Proffitt (Patsy Jean).

She is survived by : her children, Christina Bergbower (Eric) of Newton and Chad Armstrong (Melissa) of Watson; her sister-in-law Darlene Proffitt of Sullivan; her niece Stacy Best; her nephew Jason Proffitt; and her grandchildren, Shauna, Justin (Rachel), Cody, Brittney Bergbower, Aly, Taylor, Kristen and Natalie Armstrong.
