She was predeceased by : her parents, Earl J. Niemeyer and Florence Niemeyer (Wegman); her daughter Theresa Ann Myers; her son-in-law Douglas Myers; her grandson Arthur James Pratt; and her great grandchild Lillian Marie Dial.

She is survived by : her husband Jim Dial of Effingham; her children, Tom Dial (Cottie) of Effingham and Linda Pratt (Michael) of Charlestown, IN; her grandchildren, Sarah Koeberlein (Jeremiah), Nicki Nuxoll (Brad), Andrew Dial (Laren), Brandon Dial (Angel Bruecker), Gregory Pratt (Jackie) and Rebecca Pratt; and her brothers, Floyd Niemeyer and Albert Niemeyer (Jan). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
