He was predeceased by: his parents, George J. Hille and Velma E. Hille (Buchanan); and his brothers, Donald C. "Donnie" and John M. "Jack" Hille. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Phyllis of Dieterich.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (405 S Henrietta St, Effingham, IL 62401).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Sacred Heart School.
