He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Shick and Rosemary Schwerdt (Whitley); his stepfather Larry "Poodle" Schwerdt; and his siblings, Steven Bapp, David "Hog" Shick and Judy Arnett.
He is survived by: his wife Chris; his children, Roger Shick Jr. and Kimberly Esker (Michael); his grandchildren, Jayden Reynolds, Mikenzie Shick, Domenic Shick, Roger Shick III, Melanie Shick, Manessah Esker and Nehemiah Esker; his great grandchildren, Jax Reynolds, Dax Reynolds and Mali Reynolds; and his brother Larry Schwerdt (Alicia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
