He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kabbes and Agnes Kabbes; and his brothers, Bill, Vic, Frank and Don.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kabbes (Nacke); his sons, Scott Kabbes (Sue), Brian Kabbes (Dana), Craig Kabbes (Tessie) and Chris Kabbes (Pam); his grandchildren, Krista Niebrugge (Jake), Kari Zumbahlen (Ray), Tyler Kabbes (Jackie), Kelcey Chadwick (Jory), Steven Kabbes (Katherine), Allie Cox (Kennon), Michael Kabbes (Jackie), James Kabbes (Cissa), Katie Kabbes, Elizabeth Kabbes, Joseph Kabbes (Lauren), Will Kabbes, Anna Kabbes and Gabby Kabbes; and his sister Norma McCollough. He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
