She is survived by: her children, John Courson (Allison) of Effingham and Kimberly Farmer (Lance) of Henderson, Nevada; her siblings, Roy E. Smith (Tena) of Louisville, Illinois, Judy Hawkey (Bill) of Kinmundy and Toni Griffith of Florence, Alabama; her grandchildren, Kelsey Deadmond, Samuel Beard and Kylee Beard; her great grandchildren, Edward, Julian, Nala and Amara; and her nephew Joshua Griffith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Keens Chapel Cemetery (8464 County Rd 1025 N, Effingham, IL 62401).
