We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Shirley A. Campton of Effingham, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilbur Ping and Helen Ping (Dappert); and her siblings, Charles Ping and Maxine McQuaig. She is survived by : her close friend Milt Elefson of Effingham; her sisters, Mary Hutton of Bellingham, WA and Rita Asplin (Roger) of Altamont; and her felines, Buddy and Casper. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bauer Funeral Home (1212 W Evergreen Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be given to Effingham County Humane Society.
