He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Martin and Patricia Martin (Feldhake); his parents-in-law, Frank and Mildred Wendt; and his siblings-in-law, Philip Wendt, Timothy Wendt, Leonard and Betty Wendt.
He is survived by: his wife Lori Martin of Effingham; his children, Stephanie Rauch (Gabe) and Lewis Martin (Brooke); his grandchildren, Millie Rauch, Mayzie Rauch, Maren Martin and Anders Martin; his siblings, Lynn Tuman (Phil), Bill Martin (Judy), Debbie Ungrund (Joe) and Susie Cornell (Kenny); and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Nichols (John), Jane Kistner (Ed), Vincent Wendt (Nancy), Mary Wendt and Jeanne Wendt. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
